BPUT Students’ Association demand conduction of job fair for students

The working committee meeting of Odisha Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) Students’ Association was held on Thursday here.

The BPUT students are deprived of getting justice. BPUT has failed to ensure timely examinations, publication of results and providing required appointments, said Association’s Chief Coordinator Er. Shakti Prasad Rath.

During the meeting, the Association members demanded that the State Government should take proactive steps for conduction of job fair at immediate effect and to appoint more teachers and staffs under BPUT.

On the occasion, student of Oxford Engineering College Sansad Kumar Nayak was elected as the President of the Association in presence of Association Founder Parthasarathi Muduli, Deepak Kumar Jena, Shakti Prasad Rath, Bhagwan Sahu, Manoj Senapati, Sibasish Behera and others student leaders.

BPUT students donate 400 blood units

Around 400 units of blood were collected at a camp held in Bhubnaeswar on Sunday.

The All Odisha BPUT Students’ Organisation (AOBSO) held the programme under the Jiban-Bindu programme.

Law and Panchayati Raj Minister Arun Sahoo inaugurated the event in the presence of Culture and Tourism Minister Ashok Panda, MLAs Bijay Mohanty, Priyadarshi Mishra, Rajashri Mallick and Byomkesh Ray and BMC Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena.

AOBSO vice-president Amresh Patri and coordinator Ashwini Kumar Sahoo conducted the programme.
